My

Vision

My vision is for a future where menopause is openly discussed and understood, aligning with ontological coaching principles that highlight how language, moods and perspectives shape realities.

Discussing menopause openly breaks stigma, empowering women to share experiences without fear. This transparency fosters empathy, allowing everyone to engage in meaningful conversations about women’s health.

Training healthcare professionals in evidence-based menopause care and advocating for workplace policies is crucial. We must empower women to receive support and advocate for themselves, reinforcing their agency in healthcare decisions.

I hope men will support women with kindness and compassion, becoming better partners and promoting inclusive dialogue around women’s health.

My commitment to education, resources, and coaching invites others to join this effort. By sharing knowledge and support, we can create a society that values women’s voices, making menopause a topic of understanding and empowerment.

My

Offer

With a comprehensive understanding of the historical, biological, and emotional aspects of menopause I aim to assist others in navigating this transition with grace and empowerment. My inclusive approach incorporates ontological coaching, mindfulness, body awareness, and evidence-based education, encouraging everyone to perceive this final life stage as a valuable opportunity. By cultivating a supportive community and advocating for menopause support in the workplace, I invite women at home and at work to share their experiences and insights openly. My goal is to help empower individuals and to inspire a broader cultural shift toward recognising and valuing the diverse experiences of women.

There is so much information out there about perimenopause and menopause—it can feel completely overwhelming. As a doctor who works with many women going through this stage of life, I found there was always so much to learn. Karen’s thoughtful guidance helped me process my own perimenopause experience. I’ve come away not only better informed but also more connected to myself—and that has already made a difference in how I support my patients. This course far exceeded my expectations, which was to learn more about menopause, so that I could be a better and more informed coach. I also wanted to prepare myself for menopause and make more informed choices. I got all of that and so much more, Karen’s knowledge, wisdom, care and passion for this topic was really wonderful to observe and experience. The way the course has been curated is phenomenal and I highly recommended this course for all! Men and women. It will help you as a leader, coach and human being to navigate a large part of life in the best possible way. Thank you Karen, I’ll forever be grateful to you for designing and curating a wonderful learning programme that is beneficial for me both personally and professionally.

Thank you, Karen, for a thought-provoking menopause education.

The course accessed well-researched, relevant information.  I have been reminded that knowledge is power, and now that I am well-informed, I can make decisions about my health, energy, and long-term well-being.  It clarified which hormones my brain and body need to function well, now, and for healthy longevity.

Although there is a vast amount of well-researched information, it is presented with clarity.  For women who have not thought of the implications of menopause or have suffered greatly from menopausal symptoms, the course can be life-changing.  For clinicians, updating their knowledge via the course will save time and greatly benefit their patients.

I especially value the ontological approach.  It supports a way of life with practices and insights that help manage mental and emotional states of being, which affect the physical.

I highly recommend Karen’s menopause education course.

The menopause course was enlightening and very informative to say the least. There are a lot of symptoms that are linked to the different stages leading up to full blown menopause and I had no idea that the symptoms that I’m experiencing at 43 could be so strongly linked to hormonal changes. The information that brought different realisations and truths surrounding how we are transitioning and shedding our old selves was very clarifying and thought provoking. I also realised how so much more important our health is at 40.

I took it for granted for many years and just assumed my energy, motivation and cognitive functioning will remain top-notch until I’m in my 80’s. Little did I realise that fatigue, brain fog, sleep, joint pain, moodiness and a host of other symptoms are happening because our hormones control a lot of these processes. We don’t need to feel ashamed anymore and can advocate for ourselves when entering this phase of life by being better equipped to ask the right questions. Karen’s course has been so seasoned, well-rounded and inspiring.

I no longer feel like I’m on this trajectory on my own and understand how we don’t have to carry the burden on our own. We have resources, tools and can get to the bottom of figuring out how to feel better whether this is through natural or synthetic HRT methods. Education is power. The more we are informed, the better decisions we can make regarding our wellbeing. We need to do it for our family, loved one’s and friends – they deserve the best of us! A course I would highly recommend.

Karen’s course is informative and empowering. It demystifies cortisol’s role, it’s a deep dive into the A-Z of hormones, and diet’s important role in menopausal health.

I was going through perimenopause and at that time I thought I was dying. I really thought something serious was going on. I went to specialists, homeopaths,  gynaecologists, did blood tests and no one knew what was going on. No one even considered menopause. I wish I had met Karen at the time I went through all of that. I did the course with three other girls and what an eye opener it was!!! The sessions were therapeutic and the sharing was so necessary. I felt like I was in a safe space. There was no judgement. I learned so much. The knowledge I gained will definitely help me on my way forward. Thank you Karen.

Why supporting menopause in the workplace matters

Menopause is a challenging transition that impacts millions of working women. Women aged 45-55 are typically in their peak career years – holding leadership positions, managing teams, and contributing to critical business operations. Ignoring menopause in the workplace can have financial and operational repercussions.

Menopause-related absenteeism, reduced work hours, and premature retirements impact your bottom line. Addressing menopause in your diversity and inclusion strategy isn’t just about employee well-being; it’s about improving retention, reducing recruitment costs, and enhancing productivity. By creating menopause-friendly policies, businesses can reduce employee turnover and maintain a thriving, multigenerational workforce.

Through my talks and workshops I aim to educate audiences about the physical, emotional, and social aspects of menopause, helping to foster a supportive environment for those entering this life-changing transition. I believe that open conversations can empower women and their colleagues, dispel myths, and promote better understanding in workplaces and communities.

My

Story

Since 2012, I have devoted myself to coaching, facilitating, and leading retreats.

My coach training is rooted in biology, neuroscience, and philosophy, and I remain an eager learner.

I offer coaching and support to clients in both corporate and private environments.

Through my personal and challenging journey with menopause, I have realised that menopause is definitely not an older women’s transition and it is a neuroendocrine transition that affects the brain, neurological system, and hormonal system which can influence our way of being dramatically. This can affect our personal and working relationships and the stories we tell ourselves.

I have cultivated a deep curiosity and committed myself to researching and understanding evidence-based menopause care and education.

My passion for supporting women at home and at work during the menopause transition truly excites me. With my extensive background in coaching, and through lived experience I feel uniquely positioned to make a significant impact in this often-overlooked area.
